Appointments

Urgent appointments

If you need urgent medical advice or treatment, please call us on 0161 740 9864 or visit the surgery in person. Our online consult system has a 24 hour turnaround. If your query is of a more urgent nature, please contact our reception team.

Urgent cases will be seen as soon as possible on the same day, with whichever doctor is available.

Routine appointments

To request a routine appointment in the next 7 days:

  • phone us on 0161 740 9864 Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm
  • visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm
  • use your NHS account to book a screening test or vaccination

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Online Consultations

Click here to complete the Online Consultation form. You DO NOT need to log in, simply complete the form, add your contact details to the form at the end and click SUBMIT. Online Consult functionality can only be used between Monday 8.00am and Friday 5.00pm.

Enhanced Access

The practice is pleased to offer access to GP, nurse and HCA appointments during the evenings and at weekends.

To book appointments ask the receptionist who will arrange an appointment at a time and location that suits you best. This may not be at your usual practice.  The Clinician who sees you will have access to your medical record and can issue prescriptions if required.

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

  • by phone
  • face to face at the surgery
  • on a video call
  • by text or email

Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

We have a high number of appointments that are not cancelled by the patients which costs the NHS a lot of money. Please can you inform the practice as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your appointment.

To cancel your appointment:
